Coming home to your heart, body, and soul
In these times, loneliness is an epidemic. It is essential that we gather in circles and community, and also that we maintain a deep connection with our own bodies and voices.
MORE THAN THE WORKSHOP
During over a decade of dedication to a holistic, body-based spiritual path and healing journey, I've noticed similarities and parallels with my profession and training in acting, singing, songwriting, and storytelling. So in my work, I blend the two:
The artistic path and the healing-spiritual path – as one.
I warmly welcome you to The Muse workshop.

The workshop begins with a short meditation and nervous system regulation practice, and from there we move into 4 segments:
· Lecture about playing with muses such as mythological figures for inner growth or artistic inspiration – merging creativity, somatic healing, and spirituality
· Guided ritual and reflection: opening the channel, visualizing, writing
· Guided embodiment practice: movement, voice, sacred theatre with archetypes
· Questions and sharings
In my own creative work as a singer-songwriter and actress, I have long been inspired by myths and archetypal stories, and "collaborated with muses." This has been the case with my two albums (Persephone and Jupiter ), my folk musical (Wayward Home – influenced by Noah's Ark), and my current album in process (based on a dark feminine figure that I'm not yet ready to reveal...). This has infused my process with joy, flow, and mystery. Perhaps there is a certain mythological character that you'd like to collaborate with?
In my spiritual and somatic healing journey, I have found embodiment practice with archetypes to be profoundly healing – also known as "Sacred Play" or "Sacred Theatre." In this age of screens and hustling, we may feel a deep, sometimes painful, yearning to be more than just our everyday “selves”, because indeed: we are. This practice is not about transcending the body, voice, or emotions – but rather about deepening into them. It involves opening ourselves as vessels for life force, so that we can really live fully. It’s extremely nourishing to shape-shift into new ways of being – the whole spectrum is within us – and it may reveal forgotten parts of ourselves.
Perhaps your inner Rebel is calling for you to start saying NO and forge your own path; or your inner Lover is longing for you to soften your guard and open up your heart; or your inner Queen or King is waiting for you to begin leading from a place of high self-worth; or your inner Witch or Wizard is beckoning you to remember the magical mischief and wild connection to the natural world that you once used to know. Let's find out.
Who is this for?
· Wild souls who want to develop as artists and find their creative voice. Whether you are a full-time professional artist, or you haven't created anything in ages – you are welcome. This is about finding an embodied soul-connection with creativity and learn how to work with muses in projects.
· Seekers who wish to deepen on the embodied, mystical, spiritual/healing path, and who yearn to live and love more fully and freely – rested and rooted into their bodies.
· Those in a time of transition, stuckness, or loss, who need support to “see in the dark” and wish to gather with others in a healing space.
· Lovers of myths and folklore who want to expand into the magic beyond their everyday life, reignite imagination, express more freely, and to not forget how to play.
Since we are prioritizing the body, emotions, and creative energy, this may not be suitable if you are looking for more “heady” workshops. And if you have severe mental health struggles, this may not be the right fit for you. You are welcome to reach out with any questions you may have.
